These terms apply when you use this website or buy from Scentora, a candle brand based in Chennai, India. By placing an order, you agree to them.
Products
Our candles are hand-poured in small batches, so small differences in colour, surface finish and wax texture between pieces are normal and are not defects. Product photos are shown as accurately as we can, but colours may look slightly different on your screen. Burn times are estimates and depend on how the candle is used.
Prices
All prices are in Indian Rupees (₹) and are the final price for the product. Delivery charges, if any, are shown at checkout before you pay. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed.
Orders and payment
Every order is paid online at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Cashfree Payments using UPI, cards, net banking or wallets. We do not offer Cash on Delivery, and we never see or store your card or bank details.
An order is confirmed once your payment is successful and you see the confirmation page. We may cancel an order and refund it in full if a product is out of stock, if there is an obvious pricing error, or if we suspect fraud.

Using candles safely
Candles have an open flame. Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it away from children, pets, curtains and anything flammable. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each burn, burn for no more than 4 hours at a time, and stop when about 1 cm of wax remains. For the Pearl Candle, follow the instructions on the pouch. We are not responsible for damage or injury caused by using a product other than as instructed.

If you agree at checkout to receive news and offers, we may contact you by email or SMS. You can unsubscribe at any time, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
Our content
The product names, photos, text and design on this website belong to Scentora and may not be copied or used without our written permission.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Complaints and Grievance Officer
If something is not right with your order, contact us first and we will do our best to fix it. You can also write to our Grievance Officer, Vijayaraj, at contact@thescentora.com or +91 94458 24332. We will acknowledge your complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
